]]> Comment on Efficient Showering by richie boy http://www.josieworld.net/20100612-569/comment-page-1#comment-51 richie boy Sun, 13 Jun 2010 03:38:17 +0000 http://www.josieworld.net/?p=569#comment-51 since i'm not too religious an all, i'ma stay away from that last part of yours but i do have thoughts on efficiency and stuff i found myself in a very similar situation not too long ago. i forget who exactly i was talking to about it, but we both came to realize that when we went back home from the dorms and school and everything, we used a shite load of utilities!!! i myself don't look at my parents utilities bills but in the back of my head, i feel that when ever me or my sister comes home for vacation or w.e, mad water and electricity is consumed, whether its intentional or not. yes, i do try to stop myself from overusing water or electricity at home cus it means more bills to pay for my parents. but when i'm back at school, i use all the electricity and water i can get, since BU hordes all our money anyways, why not take as much back as we can rite?! well, it put me in a situation where i told myself that i couldn't continue this charade of using when it feels unlimited and not using when it felt like too much was being wasted. so, although i feel like its not a complete answer... my best thoughts on the subject are... whether or not you use it (the water or power), you're still paying for it in the end and whats a few extra drops here and there, just so you can enjoy a nice steam in the shower, or a nice long shave with clean running water?? since i’m not too religious an all, i’ma stay away from that last part of yours
